Google Launches Gemini 3.7 Flash with Enhanced Code Generation Accuracy

Gemini 3.7 Flash, launched on August 13, 2026, achieves a first-pass code accuracy of 43.6%, significantly improving from the 34.4% of its predecessor, Gemini 3.6 Flash. This model also shows enhanced performance in document processing, with a GDP.pdf benchmark accuracy of 34.0%, up from 22.0% in 3.6 Flash. The AutomationBench accuracy rose to 30.4%, compared to 17.0% previously. Tulsee Doshi, Senior Director of Product Management for the Gemini team, noted that early customer feedback highlights substantial improvements in software engineering, knowledge work, and web development workflows. Gemini 3.7 Flash is priced at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens. Additionally, it incorporates updated safeguards against misuse in CBRN and cyber offense domains.
