RiskFlow: Fast and Faithful Safety-Critical Traffic Scenario Generation

Problem

Results
The authors conducted experiments on the nuScenes dataset, utilizing the tbsim closed-loop evaluation framework. RiskFlow demonstrated a significant improvement in the adversariality-realism trade-off across multi-agent and long-horizon scenarios. Specifically, it outperformed representative baselines in terms of realism while maintaining competitive safety-critical generation capabilities. The framework also achieved a substantial reduction in inference time, enhancing the efficiency of scenario generation. Limitations
