YouTube to Enable Custom Feed Creation Using Gemini AI Next Month

YouTube will roll out support for creating multiple custom video feeds using its Gemini AI model next month. This feature allows users to tailor their viewing experience from YouTube's vast corpus of 20 billion videos. Emily Moxley, VP of Product Management for Viewer AI at YouTube, highlighted the accessibility of diverse content, stating, "One of the amazing things about being on YouTube is that the world is always at your fingertips."

The custom feeds can be particularly useful for specific scenarios, such as curating content for a 30-minute train commute. This move follows similar initiatives in the industry, such as Bluesky's Attie tool for feed-building and Meta's ongoing enhancements to its platforms.

Additionally, YouTube is offering a $200 discount for registration to the Disrupt event in San Francisco, taking place from October 13 to 15, if booked by September 25 at 11:59 p.m. PT. This feature aims to enhance user engagement and personalization, providing a more tailored content discovery experience.
