Google Launches CC, an AI Agent for Household Management in Gemini App

Google has launched CC, an AI agent designed for household management, integrated into the Gemini app. CC supports up to six family members, allowing them to share information and manage tasks collaboratively. Users must be 18 years or older to access the service, which means that older kids, like tweens and teens, cannot use CC unless they misrepresent their age on their Google accounts. This follows user requests indicating a desire for more features focused on household management tasks, according to Google. CC operates on its own isolated cloud computer, leveraging Gemini and Google’s agentic harness, Antigravity. Existing users will receive email invitations to upgrade to CC in the coming days. The launch comes ahead of an event in San Francisco from October 13 to 15, where further details may be discussed.
