Meta Launches Enterprise AI Platform

On September 28, 2026, Meta announced the launch of its Enterprise AI Platform, aiming to redefine organizational operations through AI. To spearhead this initiative, Meta has appointed Chirantan “CJ” Desai, the former CEO of MongoDB, who stated that AI will fundamentally change how businesses innovate and serve customers.

The launch follows the earlier introduction of Muse, Meta's personal AI assistant, which debuted in September 2026. The new platform will integrate various components of Meta's technology stack, including the Muse API, Muse Code, and the Meta Business Agent, enhancing the capabilities available to enterprises.

Desai's departure from MongoDB resulted in a 17% drop in the company's shares, highlighting the market's reaction to this leadership change. Dev Ittycheria is currently serving as the interim CEO of MongoDB.

As part of the launch, Meta is offering a 50% discount for a second pass at the Disrupt experience event, aimed at attracting early adopters to its new platform. This initiative positions Meta to compete more aggressively in the enterprise AI space, following its recent successes with Muse, which has already surpassed ChatGPT in early adoption metrics.
